As County Commissioner for precinct 2, I will work tirelessly to serve the citizens of Harris County and our precinct.  As a conservative republican, I will make it my mission to restore fiscal accountability to the office.  I will ensure that our tax dollars are wisely spent on the projects that the citizens need and deserve.  By ensuring our priorities are in order, I will be a champion for lower property taxes and ensure that law enforcement has the resources needed to effectively fight crime and keep our communities safe.

I, along with my wife Andrea am a life-long resident of precinct 2. We have two children, daughter Jordan and son Jack III (Trey). As a hardworking family man, I believe lower taxes; safe streets and less government interference should be made priorities. 

I am a resident of Deer Park, which is also where I graduated from high school (as did my wife Andrea Moreno).  After high school, I attended Baylor University and Baylor University School of Law.  As a participant in Baylor’s unique 3 & 3 program, I was able to finish my higher education in six years. I was on the last successful participants to be admitted into this program, which allowed me to forego my fourth year of undergraduate education and enter directly in to law school with the first year of law school also counting toward my undergraduate degree requirements.

I have practiced law for seven years in the area of general civil litigation. I am currently a lawyer in the firm of Michael P. Fleming and Associates, P.C. I am licensed by the State of Texas to practice before the courts of the State of Texas as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. I have been named by Texas Monthly: SuperLawyers as a “Rising Star” and by the H Texas Magazine as a “Professional on the Fast Track.”

With much hard work and your help and support I believe that we can bring good common sense to the office of County Commissioner, Precinct 2!
